Senior Business Analyst (Banking Domain)

About the Role :
We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with a strong banking background who is passionate about transitioning into the IT industry. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working in bank operations or branch management, possess excellent communication and presentation skills, and have a deep understanding of banking processes and terminology.
Key Responsibilities :
- Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and the technical team.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Translate banking business needs into functional requirements and user stories.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and QA teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
- Conduct requirement workshops, stakeholder meetings, and product demonstrations.
- Review business processes and recommend process improvements.
- Support UAT, requirement validation, and change management activities.
- Ensure all solutions align with banking regulations and operational workflows.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- 7+ years of experience in the banking industry.
- Experience in Bank Operations, Retail Banking, or as a Branch Manager.
- Strong understanding of banking products, processes, and terminology.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to understand business problems and translate them into technology solutions.
- Go-getter attitude with strong ownership and problem-solving abilities.
- Eagerness to build a career in the IT/Product domain.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience in requirement gathering, business analysis, or digital transformation initiatives.
- Exposure to fintech, digital banking, or banking software implementations.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies is an added advantage.
- MBA, B.Com, M.Com, or relevant banking/finance qualification.
