Senior Cadence Allegro PCB Design Engineer

Design PCB layouts for medium to complex (mixed signal, RF and high-speed) designs, using Cadence Allegro software.Generate manufacturing files and produce supporting documentation for these designs, including Gerber, fabrication, and assembly drawings.Develop own schematic symbol library, and footprint library if and when required.Liaise with customers on design requirements.Must be available to support customers on urgent designs beyond office hours if required.Manage assigned projects of junior designers and verify their work if necessary. Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering.Minimum of 8 years as a PCB Designer.Minimum of 3 years using Concept HDL and/or ORCAD for schematic and Cadence Allegro for board layout.Thorough knowledge of the ECAD design process, from schematic capture to layout to design outputs and documentation.Experience in semiconductor industry and knowledge of the automated test equipment (ATE) environment is a must.Experience in skill/script writing in Cadence Allegro is a plus.Pads/Altium Knowledge is a plus. Additional Required Skills: Professional attitude and being a team player.Well organized with good follow-through skills.Good problem solving and debug capabilities.
