Senior Cloud Engineer, VP

As a Senior Cloud Engineer at Deutsche Bank, you will be a key member of the Technology, Data, and Innovation (TDI) team, playing a crucial role in the bank's IT infrastructure modernization and cloud adoption strategy. You will work on re-platforming and re-architecting solutions onto Google Cloud, collaborating with global teams to define and execute scalable infrastructure strategies. Your responsibilities will include providing technical leadership, reviewing designs, driving re-use, and improving the GCP engineering capability.

- Define and build application architectures for re-platform or re-architect strategies, implementing blueprints and patterns for common application architectures. - Collaborate across TDI areas to create optimum solutions, increase re-use, and share knowledge. - Drive optimizations in the cloud SDLC process for productivity improvements. - Enable the adoption of practices like SRE and DevSecOps to minimize manual tasks and increase automation. - Implement Terraform modules, CI/CD pipelines, and governance frameworks for self-service infrastructure provisioning. - Collaborate with security, risk, and audit teams to enforce cloud compliance and controls. - Mentor and lead a team of cloud engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, automation, and reliability.

- Hands-on experience in building working examples and reference implementations in code. - Proficiency in implementing applications on cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP. - Strong knowledge of cloud networking, IAM, encryption standards, and workload identity federation. - Experience with DevSecOps, container orchestration (Kubernetes), and GitOps principles. - Expertise in Terraform-based infrastructure provisioning at scale. - Familiarity with tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Vault, Terraform Enterprise/Cloud.
