Senior Cloud Engineer (GCP)

You are a skilled and experienced Cloud Engineer who will be joining a dynamic team at Transcloud, a cloud technology services company. Your primary responsibility will be to implement and manage cloud architectures for client software applications, leveraging your strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) implementations and programming languages. Your contributions will play a crucial role in the success of the cloud-based solutions provided by the company.

- Troubleshoot issues, actively seek out problems, and provide effective solutions. - Implement high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions. - Act as an active participant in team operations, fostering a positive work environment. - Engage with the broader business to identify future work opportunities for the team. - Experiment with new technologies to innovate and push the boundaries of the team's projects.

- Demonstrated experience in implementing cloud architecture for software applications. - Extensive expertise in GCP implementations. - Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language. - Ability to design holistic cloud ecosystems focusing on GCP capabilities. - Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines. - Familiarity with GCP services such as Cloud Endpoints, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub. - Professional certifications related to Google Cloud Platform. - Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. - Experience with automation and infrastructure-as-code tools, preferably Terraform. - Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
