Senior Data Engineer

• Develop database solutions to store and retrieve company information. • Design conceptual and logical data models and flowcharts. • Improve system performance by conducting tests, troubleshooting, and integrating new elements. • Optimize new and current database systems. • Use scripting languages to automate data movement, cleansing, and processing activities.

• 6+ years of experience with data transformation and ETL on large data sets. • 5+ years of data modeling experience (relational, dimensional, columnar, big data). •5+ years of complex SQL or NoSQL experience. • Experience with advanced data warehouse concepts and industry ETL tools (Informatica, Talend). • Experience with reporting technologies such as Tableau and Power BI. • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Bash scripting. • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field. • Strong verbal and written communication skills; self-managed, proactive, and customer-focused. Good to Have: • Experience with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Redshift, Vertica, Hive). • Experience as an enterprise technical or engineering consultant. • Experience building or administering reporting/analytics platforms and flexible data APIs. • Knowledge of orchestration tools such as Airflow or AWS Step Functions. • Experience with Agile development.
