Senior Data Engineer - Logistics & Supply Chain

Build and maintain CI/CD and DevOps pipelines for data workloads using Azure DevOps, with automation and repeatable deployments as a priority. Integrate core Azure services Data Factory, Synapse, Azure Functions, Key Vault, and ADLS Gen2.Implement data governance, security, and access control, including encryption and PII protection across ingestion and storage.Apply strong Databricks best practices Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, cluster and job optimization, medallion architecture, and performance and cost tuning.Build a Data Quality framework across the data ingestion process.Monitor, troubleshoot, and tune replication latency, pipeline performance, and platform health.Provide technical leadership, mentor junior and mid-level engineers, and maintain clear documentation of architecture and processes. Required Experience: Data engineering experience building and operating production data platforms.Deep, hands-on expertise in real-time replication and change data capture (CDC) from relational databases into Databricks.Strong grasp of database concepts, plus proficiency in Python and/or Scala.Strong proficiency in Lakehouse engineering and cloud data services at scale.Experience developing and maintaining Databricks pipelines.Understanding of Docker and deployments.Sound understanding of data governance, security, and sensitive-data handling.We offer you: The opportunity to expand your experience in a truly international, world-class company whose philosophy is that your everyday work should be both varied and full of professional challenges, with wide opportunities for constant professional and personal development.
