Senior Data Engineering Specialist Enterprise ETL, Ab Initio GDE & Data

Specialist - Data Engineering Notice period 30 days to immediate joiners 5-8 years Chennai, Pune Job description Design develop test and support ETL workflows using Ab Initio GDE graphs and transforms for large scale data processing Implement data extraction transformation and loading logic from multiple source systems into target data stores DW marts Work with Ab Initio EME Enterprise MetaEnvironment for metadata management version control and deployment Develop reusable components such as transforms XFRs DMLs parameter files and reference data structures Perform data validation reconciliation error handling and performance tuning of ETL jobs Collaborate with business analysts and data modelers to understand requirements and convert them into scalable ETL designs Support production ETL jobs troubleshoot issues and ensure adherence to SLAs Follow coding standards naming conventions and data governance guidelines Prepare and maintain technical documentation ETL design documents mappings and operational runbooks 26 years of hands on experience in Ab Initio ETL development Strong expertise in Ab Initio GDE graph development transforms and Unix shell scripting Working knowledge of Ab Initio EME for metadata versioning and collaboration Good understanding of ETL concepts data warehousing and data integration patterns Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and validation Experience handling large data volumes and performance sensitive ETL jobs Familiarity with UnixLinux environments Strong analytical debugging and problem solving skills Experience in banking financial services or enterprise DW programs Exposure to scheduling tools Control M or equivalent Knowledge of data quality frameworks and metadata management practices Experience working in Agile or DevOps delivery models Strong problemsolving and debugging ability Good communication and stakeholder collaboration Ownership mindset and ability to work in Agile teams Good documentation and process adherence Skills: Mandatory Skills : AbInitio .
