01Key Responsibilities
- Conduct advanced research and development in areas including Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision and Generative AI.- Design, develop and implement sophisticated AI/ML models to address real-world business challenges in the financial services industry.- Work with large and complex datasets to identify meaningful insights and support business decision-making.- Conduct experiments to evaluate model performance and identify opportunities for optimisation and improvement.- Work closely with data scientists, engineers, cross-functional teams and academic institutions to translate research into practical AI applications.- Explore and apply emerging AI/ML techniques to solve complex problems.- Contribute to research initiatives and, where applicable, publish research papers in reputed conferences and journals.- Mentor junior data scientists and team members and contribute to building a strong culture of innovation and continuous learning.Skills & Qualifications:- 1015 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML research and development.- Strong hands-on experience in Generative AI and advanced AI technologies.- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field, with a strong focus on AI and Machine Learning.- Deep understanding of Machine Learning algorithms and techniques, including:1. Deep Learning2. Reinforcement Learning3. Statistical Learning4. Natural Language Processing5. Computer Vision- Strong programming skills in Python, R or other relevant programming languages.- Experience working with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark and SQL.- Experience with one or more cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP or Azure.- Strong research, analytical and problem-solving capabilities.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.- Ability to work independently as well as effectively with cross-functional teams.- Experience in the financial services industry and familiarity with financial industry concepts/regulations will be an advantage.- Experience mentoring or managing junior team members is preferred.
