Senior Demand Planning Executive (Mumbai)

Senior Executive, Demand Planning Position Summary Senior Demand Planning Executive will be responsible for leading demand forecasting, inventory planning, replenishment, and import coordination to ensure optimum product availability while minimizing excess inventory and working capital. The role requires close collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Procurement, Logistics, and overseas suppliers. The ideal candidate will have solid expertise in demand planning, forecasting, inventory management, and import operations, combined with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Key Responsibilities Demand Planning & Forecasting (Primary Responsibility) Develop and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual demand forecasts at SKU and channel levels. Analyze historical sales trends, seasonality, promotions, launches, and market dynamics to improve forecast accuracy. Lead the Demand Planning process and participate in S&OP; meetings. Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to capture business assumptions and market intelligence. Monitor forecast accuracy and implement corrective actions to improve planning effectiveness. Generate demand planning reports, inventory projections, and replenishment recommendations. Inventory & Supply Planning Ensure optimum inventory levels across warehouses and distribution channels. Balance stock availability while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory. Develop replenishment plans based on forecasted demand and lead times. Monitor inventory health, slow-moving stock, stock-outs, and ageing inventory. Support working capital optimization initiatives. Import Documentation & International Supply Chain Management Manage import planning, custom clearance and coordination with international suppliers & CDSCO product registration. Monitor purchase orders, production schedules, and shipment timelines. Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and logistics partners. Ensure timely availability of impo .
