Key Responsibilities
**
- Design, build, and operate large-scale virtualized environments (VMware vSphere, KVM, Hyper V, or Nutanix) meeting banking grade performance, availability, and security requirements.
- Automate provisioning, scaling, patching, and disaster recovery of VMs and associated networking/storage using Terraform and custom Python tooling.
- Deploy and maintain OpenShift clusters for containerized workloads, integrating them seamlessly with the underlying virtualized fabric.
- Create and manage CI/CD pipelines that deliver both VM-based and container-based services with zero downtime releases.
- Implement security and compliance controls via policy as code, role-based access, network segmentation, and automated vulnerability scanning.
- Develop an observability stack to monitor VM health, OpenShift clusters, and application performance; drive RCA and continuous improvement.

Qualifications Required
**
- Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or Red Hat Certified Specialist OpenShift Administration.
- VMware Certified Professional Data Center Virtualization (VCP DCV).
- 8-10 years of production experience with VMware vSphere or equivalent virtualization technologies.
- Practical experience deploying and managing OpenShift clusters.
- Strong proficiency in Terraform, Python programming, CI/CD, GitOps, and observability tools.
- Direct experience delivering infrastructure solutions for banks or highly regulated financial institutions.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally, mentor junior staff, and influence architectural decisions.
