SA1 / Sr. Engg - GTS - Build Roles & responsibilities Plan, execute, and validate deployments across cloud (primarily Microsoft Azure) and onpremise environments, ensuring high reliability and minimal downtime Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, ensuring efficient build, test, and deployment processes across multiple environments. Implement a build once, deploy many strategy to streamline deployment workflows. Integrate JFrog Artifactory with CI/CD pipelines for artifact management and version control. Collaborate with development teams to embed DevOps best practices into the software development lifecycle. Monitor and resolve pipeline failures, performance bottlenecks, and system issues across development, staging, and production environments. Embed security and compliance checks within CI/CD workflows to ensure safe and reliable deployments. Securely manage secrets and credentials using GitHub Secrets or equivalent tools. Create and maintain reusable GitHub Actions and workflows to promote consistency and efficiency. Integrate third-party tools and platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, Azure, and Terraform to enhance automation and scalability. Maintain comprehensive documentation for workflows, configurations, and architectural decisions. Stay current with emerging technologies and process improvements to modernize and automate systems. Work closely with product managers, developers, and QA teams to ensure accurate implementation of requirements. Document and communicate outcomes, decisions, and technical insights effectively. Gather and analyze information from stakeholder meetings to produce actionable reports. Ensure solutions align with business needs and technical requirements. Update, implement, and maintain operational procedures and standards. Manage competing priorities and resources to meet project deadlines. Track deliverables and ensure timely completion of assignments.
