Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
**
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI for automated build, test, and deployment workflows.
- Containerize applications with Docker, optimize Dockerfiles, and manage image lifecycle.
- Deploy and operate applications on Kubernetes, ensuring rollout strategies, scaling, self-healing, and resource optimization.
- Create, maintain, and version Helm charts for consistent and repeatable deployments.
- Manage secrets and sensitive configurations using HashiCorp Vault.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the stack, collaborating with developers to enhance deployment reliability and release velocity.
- Apply infrastructure and platform best practices and perform basic networking diagnostics.
- Support Linux-based systems administration tasks.

Qualifications Required
**
- Strong experience with Docker, including building images, multi-stage builds, and best practices for security.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes, core objects, troubleshooting, namespaces, and resource management.
- Familiarity with Vault for secrets management, policies, and secure secret retrieval.
- Solid Linux command-line skills, system troubleshooting, permissions, and scripting basics.
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, TLS/cert troubleshooting, and connectivity debugging tools.
