About the roleWe are seeking a detailoriented Senior Executive to lead our Accounts Payable function within a fastmoving FMCG environment in Kolkata. The role combines monthend accounting, bank reconciliation, financial reporting and MIS analysis to ensure accurate financial controls.Key responsibilitiesPost provisions and accounting entries for monthend and yearend closures.Record transactions, prepare debit notes and monitor recoveries for rent, utilities, taxes, IT services and other expenses.Review model agreement files and maintain compliance with statutory requirements.Prepare periodic Bank Reconciliation Statements, investigate unreconciled items and coordinate with banks and internal teams.Support monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing activities, including accruals, provisions and balancesheet reconciliations.Produce financial reports and schedules for audits and publish MIS reports on AP performance, KPI tracking and spend analysis.Provide analytical insights for management decisions and assist internal and statutory audits.Required profile57 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Indian accounting, MIS reporting and bank reconciliation.Bachelors degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting or a related field.Strong knowledge of Indian accounting principles, financial reporting and internal controls.Required skillsSAP ERP (preferred) .
