Senior Executive - Payment Posting (US Healthcare)

We are looking for a detail-oriented Payment Posting Executive with experience in healthcare RCM to accurately post insurance and patient payments, reconcile accounts, identify denials/underpayments, and ensure timely revenue processing. The candidate should have good knowledge of EOBs, ERA processing, insurance guidelines, and payment reconciliation. Key Responsibilities Post insurance payments, patient payments, and adjustments accurately into billing software. (ECW)Review and interpret EOBs (Explanation of Benefits) and ERAs (Electronic Remittance Advice).Reconcile daily deposits and payment batches.Identify denials, short payments, and zero payments for further action.Process contractual adjustments, write-offs, refunds, and recoupments.Ensure TAT and productivity targets are achieved.Coordinate with AR and billing teams for unresolved claims/payment issues.Maintain accuracy and compliance with HIPAA guidelines.Analyze trends in denials and payment variances.Handle secondary claims and crossover claims when applicable.Work on aging reports and payment discrepancy reports.Required Skills Good understanding of US Healthcare RCM processes.Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes preferred.Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance payers.Strong analytical and numerical skills.Attention to detail and accuracy.Good communication and email handling skills.Ability to work in spreadsheets and billing tools.Preferred Software Knowledge eClinicalWorksAdvancedMDOffice AllyMicrosoft ExcelExperience 3-5 years in Healthcare Payment Posting / Medical Billing. Experience in Gastroenterology specialty preferred.
