01Overview
The Senior Executive Supply Chain & Procurement will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement and supply chain activities to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality-compliant sourcing of materials and services. This role requires hands-on experience in vendor management, purchase planning, negotiations, inventory coordination, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering, production, and finance teams.
The role plays a critical part in supporting project delivery, production schedules, and business continuity through efficient procurement operations.

Procurement &
Vendor Management
Manage end-to-end
procurement activities including RFQs, vendor evaluation, price negotiation,
purchase order (PO) issuance, and follow-ups
Develop and maintain a
reliable vendor base for direct and indirect materials
Lead commercial
negotiations to achieve cost optimization and favorable payment terms
Ensure procurement
compliance with internal policies and approval workflows
Supply Chain
Planning & Execution
Plan and execute
procurement in line with production plans, project timelines, and demand
forecasts
Monitor material
availability and proactively address supply risks and delays
Coordinate with
logistics partners for timely material movement and delivery
Support import/export
activities, where applicable, including documentation and timelines
Inventory &
Cost Control
Monitor inventory
levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess and
obsolescence
Work closely with
stores and finance teams on GRN, invoice matching, and stock reconciliation
Track procurement
costs and support budgeting and cost-control initiatives
Cross-Functional
Coordination
Collaborate with
engineering, R&D, manufacturing, quality, and finance teams to understand
material specifications and sourcing requirements
Support new product
development (NPD) by sourcing new components, vendors, and alternatives
Resolve supplier
quality or delivery issues in coordination with internal stakeholders
Reporting &
Process Improvement
Maintain accurate
procurement records, vendor data, and documentation
Generate periodic
reports on procurement status, savings, vendor performance, and lead times
Identify opportunities
for process improvement, supplier consolidation, and cost reduction
Qualifications
& Experience
Minimum
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in
Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Operations, Engineering, or a related
field
5+ years of hands-on
experience in procurement and supply chain operations
Strong experience with
vendor negotiation, PO management, and material planning
Preferred
Qualifications
Experience in
engineering, electronics, manufacturing, or technology-driven organizations
Exposure to
import/export procurement and logistics coordination
Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle or
similar) .
