Overview
As a Finance and Accounting professional at Mott MacDonald, you will be supporting seniors with financial reporting, credit management, treasury, and internal controls in the country. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Prompt processing of Accounts Receivable invoicing, including maintaining a billing diary and focusing on credit management
- Processing inter-entity billing journals and preparing supporting invoices as necessary
- Ensuring approval of credit notes in line with delegated authorities
- Prompt processing and payment of Accounts Payable invoices, site returns, and staff expenses
- Assisting in preparing and reviewing monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Monitoring intercompany accounts to ensure valid transactions, reconciliation, and settlement as guided by group Treasury
- Assisting in the preparation and review of various schedules related to taxation such as VAT, GST, TDS, Withholding tax, and timely tax return submission
- Supporting seniors with internal or external audits
Qualifications required for this role include being a Qualified MBA Finance / M. Com / CFA with relevant experience, fluent in English (both written and verbal), willingness to undertake business travel as required around India, conversant in the use of Microsoft products and experience in other ERP systems, and flexible working.
