01Key Responsibilities
- Analyze fixed income investment opportunities through quantitative and qualitative assessment, supporting risk-reward based investment decisions.
- Develop and maintain financial models, valuation models, and investment trackers.
- Negotiate pricing, yields, structures, and transaction terms with market participants.
- Review term sheets and thoroughly assess IMs, transaction structures, and legal documentation prior to execution.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory guidelines, and risk parameters.
- Liaise with brokers, bankers, arrangers, and counterparties for debt transaction sourcing and execution, while coordinating settlement and post-trade processes with legal, compliance, finance, treasury, operations, and custodians.
- Track RBI policies, interest rate movements, inflation trends, bond yields, and macroeconomic indicators.
- Monitor portfolio risks including duration, concentration, rating migration, liquidity, and covenant compliance.
- Prepare portfolio reviews, yield analysis, MIS reports, dashboards, and management presentations.
- Utilize AI-enabled tools and analytical platforms for MIS automation, market tracking, research, and data analysis.
- Actively participate in primary and secondary market transactions, portfolio churn, and duration management.
Candidate
Profile
CFA / CA / MBA (Finance). Minimum 10 years of experience in investment research and fixed income markets, including debt dealing and strong market relationships. Strong passion for investments and alpha generation. Commercially astute and markets-driven professional with strong investment orientation.
Good understanding of fixed income products, macroeconomics, and multiple asset classes. Solid analytical ability with interest in evaluating companies, industries, and market trends. Proficient in Excel, financial modelling, valuation techniques, and AI-enabled research tools. Sound understanding of accounting, credit, and investment concepts. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present and defend investment views. Good negotiation and relationship management skills.
