01Key Responsibilities
Apply SRE principles (SLIs/SLOs, alert quality, incident reduction) across Infrastructure Operations.Use working knowledge of VDI and VSI environments and infrastructure platforms to interpret health and performance signals from VMware Aria Operations.Diagnose cross-platform incidents, including:VMware vSphere / ESXi / vCenterHorizon components (brokers, agents)Log AnalyticsWindows & Linux workloadsAppliance based workloadsTranslate infrastructure signals into:Actionable metrics and alertsObservability pipelines (APIs, exporters, telemetry flows) into DataMartPlatform-level insights for SRE consumptionDevelopment of AI Based resolution with strong automated based approaches.Partner with SRE / Operations teams to:Eliminate false positives and alert noiseImprove dashboard accuracy and usabilityDrive proactive detection vs. reactive responseSupport OpenShift / Kubernetes platforms (Day-2 operations):Resource utilization & saturationNode stability and workload behaviorPlatform health visibilityDevelop and maintain automation solutions to:Replace manual alert remedation tasksStandardize repeatable workflowsImprove reliability and response timesParticipate in platform-focused on-call rotation (limited scope)Required Skills (Core Expectations)Working knowledge of:Virtualization Layer as it relates to telemetry and observability.Strong foundation in:Linux (RHEL) administration and troubleshootingREST APIs (integration, data extraction, auth handling)Scripting (Python or PowerShell) for automation and telemetryExperience working with:Monitoring / observability tools (data interpretation focus)Incident triage across distributed systemsPreferred / Nice to HaveExposure to OpenShift / Kubernetes environmentsFamiliarity with Prometheus, Grafana, or similar observability toolingUnderstanding of application and Infrastructure flows

Educational Qualifications:
