Position: Senior IT Support
Location: Kochi,India / Sharjah, UAE (supporting UAE & India offices)
Reports to: Management
Role Overview
The Senior IT Support will be responsible for managing and securing the companys IT infrastructure across all offices. This includes server administration, network and security management, user support, license compliance, data privacy, and IT policy implementation. The role requires strong technical expertise, leadership, and vendor coordination to ensure smooth operations, security, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure & Server Management
Manage Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policies.Oversee file servers, QNAP devices, backups, and storage integration.Ensure uptime, performance, and disaster recovery readiness.Plan and implement system upgrades and patches.Network & Security
Administer Fortinet firewalls, VPNs (FortiClient), and secure tunneling across offices.Monitor network health, connectivity, and performance.Define and enforce security policies (USB restrictions, file permissions, password policies).Manage endpoint protection, antivirus, and monitoring tools.User & Application Support
Provide IT support to 60+ users across UAE and India.Manage software deployment and license compliance (Microsoft 365, AutoCAD, ARES Commander, Bentley, etc.).Ensure seamless SSO / credential integration across systems.Maintain user access controls and prevent unauthorized data sharing.Data Privacy & Compliance
Implement IT policies aligned with data protection and confidentiality standards.Monitor and audit IT activities for compliance.Support ISO-related IT documentation (policies, SOPs, forms).Monitoring & Reporting
Use IT monitoring tools for system, network, and hardware health checks.Maintain logs of IT activities, incidents, and preventive actions.Provide regular IT performance and security reports to management.Vendor & Project Management
Coordinate with IT vendors for hardware, software, and service contracts.Lead IT projects (server upgrades, AD migration, cloud integration, etc.).Evaluate and recommend new technologies for cost-effective adoption.Qualifications
Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (Masters preferred).6+ years of IT administration experience, including 2+ years in a senior role.Strong knowledge of:Windows Server 2025 & Active DirectoryGroup Policy ManagementMicrosoft 365 / Azure ADNetworking (LAN/WAN, VPN, Fortinet firewalls)NAS/Storage systems (QNAP)Experience in server virtualization, backup solutions, and endpoint management.Familiarity with IT security frameworks, ISO standards, and data protection practices.Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and leadership skills.Ability to lead IT initiatives independently and train junior staff.Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: 25,000.00 - 30,000.00 per month
