Overview
As an experienced IT security auditor, you will be responsible for leading and conducting various IT security audits in alignment with the Global IIA standards. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the Head of Internal Audit in the day-to-day running of IT security audits.
- Leading the audit planning efforts and developing risk-based audit plans based on annual risk assessments.
- Organizing and supervising the conduct of all IT security audit projects.
- Following agile auditing approach to deliver high quality outcomes.
- Preparing reports and management presentations reflecting the outcomes of IT audits with a focus on key risks.
- Working closely with co-sourced partners to steer the audit delivery to meet objectives and timelines.
- Making recommendations to improve processes and ensuring timely closure of actions.
- Writing high-quality audit reports praised for their accuracy, brevity, and clarity.
Qualifications required for this role include:
- Minimum of 12 to 14 years of IT and Cyber security auditing experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- Good understanding of regulatory and statutory expectations, including System and IS Audits.
- In-depth experience in handling regulatory audit mandates for various products/licenses.
- Strong knowledge of global security standards and frameworks.
- Proficiency in data analytics and familiarity with data visualization tools.
- Proactive, independent, resourceful, and self-motivated with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to interact, collaborate, and challenge teams on existing IT security practices.
- Globally recognized certifications in technical security areas preferred.
