About the Role We're looking for a Senior/Lead QA Engineer who can independently own quality across web, mobile, and backend systems, and who's comfortable using AI tools to accelerate test design and execution. This is a hands-on, self-driven role you'll be expected to set direction on testing strategy, not just execute against a plan handed to you. Key Responsibilities Design, write, and maintain functional and non-functional test cases, leveraging AI tools (e.g., Copilot, test-case generation LLMs, AI-assisted test authoring platforms) to speed up coverage and reduce manual effort Own end-to-end QA for web frontend, mobile applications (iOS/Android), and backend/API services Plan and execute load and performance testing define benchmarks, identify bottlenecks, and work with engineering to resolve them Apply strong fundamentals across the QA lifecycle: test planning, requirement analysis, defect lifecycle management, regression strategy, and release sign-off Drive test automation strategy and framework decisions where applicable (web, API, mobile, and performance test automation) Identify gaps in coverage proactively rather than waiting for direction; bring structure to ambiguous or evolving requirements Mentor junior QA engineers and review their test plans/cases for completeness and quality Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps to embed quality earlier in the SDLC Report on quality metrics, risk areas, and testing status to stakeholders Must-Have Skills 67+ years of hands-on QA experience, with at least 2+ years in a senior/lead capacity Strong experience testing web frontend, mobile apps, and backend/API services Practical experience with load/performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6, Gatling, or similar) Working knowledge of using AI tools to generate/optimize functional and non-functional test cases Solid grasp of core QA/testing fundamentals test design techniques, defect triage, test pyramids, risk-based testing Familiarity with cross-browser/cross-device testing and responsive UI validation Demonstrated ability to work independently, take ownership, and drive testing strategy without heavy hand-holding Good to Have Experience with automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, Postman/Newman, REST Assured, etc.) Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into them Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure) for test environment setup ISTQB or equivalent certification .
