About the Role Our client, a rapidly expanding e-commerce platform, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Logistics Coordinator to manage and optimize their supply chain operations in the vibrant city of Surat, Gujarat . Key Responsibilities Develop and implement efficient logistics strategies to support e-commerce operations. Manage inbound and outbound logistics, including shipping, receiving, and inventory control. Oversee the selection and performance of third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and carriers. Monitor and analyze key logistics metrics, such as delivery times, costs, and inventory accuracy, and implement improvements. Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations and company policies. Collaborate with procurement, sales, and customer service teams to ensure seamless operations. Manage and maintain accurate inventory records, conducting regular audits to ensure integrity. Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for maximum efficiency in Surat, Gujarat . Resolve logistical issues and customer complaints related to deliveries promptly and effectively. Lead and mentor a team of logistics assistants and warehouse staff. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in logistics, supply chain management, or warehousing, preferably within the e-commerce sector. Proven track record in managing complex logistics operations and achieving performance targets. Strong understanding of inventory management systems (IMS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Excellent knowledge of transportation modes, carrier management, and international shipping regulations. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau). Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, and negotiation skills. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with internal teams and external partners. Familiarity with the logistics landscape in Surat, Gujarat is a plus.
