01Overview

We are seeking an experienced Risk & Portfolio Monitoring professional with 1215 years of experience in corporate credit risk and portfolio monitoring. The role will be responsible for overseeing the performance and risk profile of a diversified portfolio of secured, senior, structured private credit investments extended to mid-market corporates and private equity-sponsored businesses. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Monitor the performance and credit quality of a diversified portfolio of secured, senior, structured private credit investments across multiple industry sectors. - Conduct periodic portfolio reviews to identify emerging credit risks, concentration risks, and early warning indicators. - Perform ongoing monitoring of borrower financial performance, including revenue trends, profitability, cash flows, leverage, liquidity, debt servicing capacity, and covenant compliance. - Review quarterly and annual financial statements, management information, lender reports, compliance certificates, and other portfolio monitoring deliverables. - Assess borrower performance against investment assumptions, approved credit parameters, and transaction covenants, recommending appropriate remedial actions where required. - Prepare portfolio risk assessments, portfolio MIS, dashboards, investment monitoring reports, and presentations for Investment Committees and Senior Management. - Conduct portfolio trend analysis, sector reviews, stress testing, and scenario analysis to evaluate portfolio resilience under changing market and economic conditions. - Monitor watchlist investments and support timely escalation of underperforming or higher-risk exposures. - Evaluate macroeconomic developments, industry dynamics, and sector-specific risks impacting portfolio companies across a sector-agnostic investment portfolio. - Coordinate with Investment Teams, Credit, Legal, Compliance, and external stakeholders to ensure effective portfolio oversight and risk mitigation. - Ensure compliance with internal investment policies, risk frameworks, transaction documentation, and governance standards. - Support portfolio optimization initiatives, including concentration risk management, portfolio analytics, and risk-adjusted return assessment. - Drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives in portfolio monitoring, reporting, data analytics, and risk surveillance processes. DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE: - 12-15 years of experience in Risk Monitoring, Portfolio Monitoring, Credit Risk, Portfolio Management, or Corporate Credit within Private Credit, Corporate Banking, NBFCs, Alternative Investments, or Financial Institutions. - Strong experience monitoring large corporate and mid-market corporate credit exposures across diversified industry sectors. - Excellent understanding of corporate financial analysis, structured credit transactions, credit risk assessment, covenant monitoring, and portfolio risk management. - Hands-on experience in early warning signal identification, watchlist monitoring, stress testing, scenario analysis, and portfolio analytics. - Strong understanding of secured lending structures, capital structures, collateral packages, and debt documentation. - Ability to evaluate portfolio performance from both a credit risk and investment monitoring perspective. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities with excellent attention to detail. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present portfolio insights to senior leadership and investment committees. - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or portfolio analytics tools will be an advantage. .
