Senior Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis
We are seeking an FP&A Team Lead to establish and support the build-out of a scalable financial planning & analysis capability. This role will combine hands-on FP&A responsibilities with early-stage team leadership, helping to establish a strong foundation for a growing analyst pool. The role is ideal for someone who is both detail-oriented and eager to take on increasing leadership responsibility, with the opportunity to grow into a larger team-leading position.
The work location will be Mumbai and work shift of 2:30-11PM IST Monday-Friday.
The day-to-day responsibilities include but not limited to:
FP&A Execution
Support budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting processes
Prepare variance analysis and deliver insights on financial performance
Build and maintain financial models
Partner with onshore/global finance teams to support business decision-making
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of deliverables
Team Development
Support hiring and onboarding of junior FP&A analysts
Provide day-to-day guidance, task oversight, and informal coaching
Help establish team workflows, documentation, and best practices
Provide coaching, mentorship and technical development to team members.
Process Standardization & Transition
Design and implement processes and create standardized templates and reporting packs
Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and automation
Support implementation of tools and systems enhancements
Drive continuous improvement in reporting quality and turnaround times
Stakeholder Coordination
Act as a key liaison between global finance leadership
Build strong relationships with business units, regional finance teams and corporate FP&AEnsure alignment on priorities, timelines and deliverables
Essential traits:
Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CPA/CFA a plus)
58 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or related roles
Prior experience in a shared services, offshore, or global support model preferred
Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting processes
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
High attention to detail with strong ownership mindset
Effective communication skills with the ability to work across geographies
Ability to balance hands-on work with emerging leadership responsibilities
Familiarity with financial systems and tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle)Process-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset
