Role Summary
As a Senior Manager, Application Engineering, you will play a pivotal leadership role in shaping and delivering Vanguard's next-generation mobile and digital experiences. You will lead multiple engineering teams responsible for designing, developing, and operating enterprise-grade mobile platforms across iOS, Android, React Native, and supporting backend services.
This role combines people leadership, engineering execution, architecture oversight, and stakeholder engagement to drive scalable, secure, and high-performing technology solutions. You will partner closely with product, design, and technology leaders to deliver innovative mobile experiences while fostering a robust engineering culture focused on excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilites
Lead and Scale Engineering Teams
Lead multiple mobile engineering teams across iOS, Android, React Native, and Node-based backend-for-frontend (BFF) platforms.
Hire, develop, and retain high-performing engineering talent while establishing clear performance expectations and growth opportunities.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Coach engineering managers and senior engineers to strengthen leadership capability across the organisatio .
