Role Summary
As Senior Manager Migrations, you will lead a portfolio of concurrent migration projects, transitioning work from local markets to our Global Delivery Hubs with seamless precision. This position would be based out of our Mumbai Delivery Hub, India. You will own the end-to-end migration lifecycle across multiple workstreams, driving governance, methodology, and stakeholder alignment at a senior level.
Ensure seamless transitions that are invisible to clients maintaining or improving service quality throughout every migration.
You will report to the Head of GDH Migrations, playing a critical role in scaling our global delivery model while protecting client relationships and service continuity. The role requires a blend of programme leadership, stakeholder management, and deep operational expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Lead & Own a portfolio of concurrent migration projects from initiation through hypercare to steady-state handover
Develop, maintain, and continuously improve migration playbooks, methodologies, and governance frameworks
Ensure client-facing teams are fully briefed and equipped to maintain service continuity, with no disruption visible to external clients
Drive change management activities at portfolio level, ensuring smooth adoption at both sending and receiving locations
Manage project budgets, resourcing plans, and vendor/partner delivery against agreed milestones.
Negotiate scope, timelines, and resource commitments with clarity and commercial awareness
Coach and develop Migration Managers and project resources, fostering a high-performance team culture
Engage and align regional and global stakeholders including Country Managing Directors, GDH Operations leads, and Client Relationship Managers
Report progress, risks, and issues to the Head of GDH and Senior leadership with clarity and confidence
Conduct rigorous post-migration reviews and embed lessons learned into the migration methodology and future delivery cycles
Drive root cause analysis for migration defects and implement corrective/preventive actions
Ensure data integrity, reconciliation, and validation processes are robust and repeatable
Champion a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement across the migrations function
Drive automation and tooling improvements to increase migration throughput and reduce manual effort

Experience & Qualifications
8+ years of experience in migration/programme management, operational change, or large-scale programme delivery at least 5 years leading migration or transformation programmes
Background in corporate services, fund administration, or financial services preferred
Proven track record in change management, with experience driving adoption across geographically distributed teams
Experience managing and developing high-performing teams
Strong commercial acumen including budget ownership and vendor/partner management
Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Azure DevOps or equivalent
Familiarity with Reporting & BI platforms (Power BI, QuickSight, Tableau) and Collaboration platforms (SharePoint, Confluence, Teams)
PMP, PRINCE2, MSP, or equivalent project/programme management certification preferred
Experience in financial services or professional services environments preferred
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or above in Commerce, Business, IT or related field;
Strong business English, both written and verbal with the ability to present information clearly and professionally to different audiences.
Flexibility to collaborate across time zones in support of regional and global stakeholders
Drives discipline in execution while maintaining agility
Understands cost, value, and ROI implications of migration decisions
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and disciplined in follow-through.
Thrives in fast-paced, evolving programme environments

Occasional travel may be required to support migration cutovers or key stakeholder engagement .
