01Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the product roadmap, defining new product features, enhancements, and strategic initiatives for the health portfolio
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback to identify gaps and opportunities in the health insurance market.
- Translate business requirements into detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), use cases, and user stories in collaboration with multiple stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Actuarial, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Claims, Underwriting, Legal, Compliance) to design, develop, test (UAT), and launch new products/features
- Monitor product performance, profitability, and key metrics (e.g., uptake, claims, customer satisfaction)
- Act as the product champion, aligning stakeholders and managing expectations across all levels for product success
- Ensure all products and processes comply with IRDAI regulations and internal guidelines
Key Requirements
- Education : MBA/PGDM in Marketing
- Experience: 3-6 years in product management within the health insurance or insurtech sector
- Insurance Knowledge: Solid understanding of health insurance products, regulatory landscape, policy servicing and underwriting basics
- Analytical Skills: Proven ability to analyze data, define requirements, and solve complex problems
- Communication: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. Prefer candidates who have interacted with business partners/banks
