Role Description The Senior Manager Research & Media Outreach will lead research initiatives and manage media relations to strengthen Square Yards brand presence and thought leadership in the proptech and real estate sectors. This full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram involves designing and executing research studies, analyzing market trends, and generating insights that support business strategy, product positioning, and stakeholder communication. The role includes developing research-based content such as reports, white papers, and briefing notes, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across marketing, PR, and digital channels. The Senior Manager will build and maintain relationships with media outlets and journalists, pitch stories, coordinate interviews and press events, and monitor media coverage to identify opportunities and risks. The position also involves tracking industry developments, benchmarking competitors, and providing regular updates to leadership on emerging themes and potential communication strategies.
Qualifications
Strong research and analytical capabilities, including experience designing studies, interpreting data, and translating insights into clear narratives for business and media audiences.Demonstrated expertise in media outreach, public relations, and stakeholder communication, with the ability to build relationships with journalists and industry influencers.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create reports, press releases, articles, and presentations tailored to diverse audiences.Background in real estate, proptech, financial services, or related sectors is highly beneficial, with a solid understanding of market dynamics and consumer behavior.Proficiency with digital tools for research, media monitoring, and content distribution; familiarity with data analytics or visualization platforms is an advantage.Proven ability to manage multiple projects, work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and leadership teams, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Relevant academic qualification such as a bachelors or masters degree in Marketing, Communications, Economics, Business, Journalism, or a related field. < .
