01Responsibilities
Own and drive test strategy, test planning, and test case design for complex business and technical requirements across multiple releases.Lead execution of functional, regression, integration, smoke, exploratory, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for high-priority modules.Identify, document, prioritise, and track defects to closure using JIRA, Asana or similar tools, ensuring minimal leakage to production.Provide quality sign-off and Go/No-Go recommendations for releases based on test coverage, defect trends, and risk assessment.Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and business analysts to define acceptance criteria and ensure complete test coverage.Mentor and guide junior and mid-level QA testers on test design techniques, tool usage, and QA best practices.Drive continuous improvement of QA processes, documentation standards, and defect management workflows.Actively participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives as a senior voice in Agile teams.Support API testing efforts using tools like Postman and coordinate with automation teams to identify regression candidates.Prepare and present QA status reports, metrics, and risk summaries to stakeholders and leadership.
02Requirements
Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience guiding or coordinating a small QA team.Expert-level knowledge of manual testing methodologies, test design techniques, and QA best practices.Strong command of writing and reviewing test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and bug reports for complex systems.Hands-on experience with test management tools such as TestRail, Zephyr, or equivalent.Solid understanding of defect lifecycle management, severity/priority classification, and SLA-driven triage processes.Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.Strong command of Agile/Scrum frameworks with experience operating as a senior QA representative in sprint ceremonies.Ability to mentor junior testers and contribute to QA capability building within the team.Design prompts that evaluate the AI's functionality, accuracy, robustness, safety, and reasoning.Business-Critical and Revenue Impact Testing: Ability to design and execute comprehensive test scenarios for subscription, billing, payment, and monetisation workflows.Deep knowledge of Accessibility Standards to perform testing on Web, Android and iOS.Good knowledge of WCAG Guidelines.Different Testing Types in Accessibility (Visual, Voice Over, Colour Contrast, Keyboard navigation).Good understanding of ARIA.Having hands-on experience using relevant Accessibility tools ( Axe, Wave, NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, Talkback).

ISTQB certification (Foundation/Advanced) or equivalent is highly preferred.Exposure to automation tools, performance testing, or CI/CD pipelines is a strong advantage.Experience working in client-facing or distributed team environments is a plus.Ability to perform Deep Root cause Analysis for different scenarios.Prompt-based AI testing.Ability to differentiate between traditional Software Testing and AI tool testing.Working knowledge of API testing using Postman; exposure to automation frameworks (Selenium/Playwright) is a strong plus. .
