About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled Senior Network Engineer with expertise in Cisco Infrastructure to join their IT operations team in Lucknow . This role is critical for designing, implementing, and managing our robust network environment, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. You will be responsible for maintaining and upgrading our network hardware and software, troubleshooting complex issues, and contributing to the development of network strategies. This position requires hands-on experience and a deep understanding of enterprise networking principles within our established Lucknow office.
Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and manage complex Cisco network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network-related issues, ensuring optimal uptime and efficiency. Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures. Implement and manage network security policies and devices to protect against threats. Plan and execute network upgrades and modifications to support business growth. Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of network services. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in network engineering, with a strong focus on Cisco technologies. Proficiency with Cisco IOS, configuration, and troubleshooting. Experience with routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF) and network security concepts.
