Senior Network Security Engineer

Team : Network Security OperationsLocation: Viman Nagar, PunePermanent Payroll : Outworks Solutions Pvt Ltd.Rotational Shifts and work from office Key Responsibilities Configure, administer, and troubleshoot Palo Alto and Cisco ASA firewall environments, including security policies, NAT, ACLs, VPNs, and traffic inspection.Design and support cloud network connectivity across Azure, AWS, and GCP, including VPC/VNet setup, routing, subnets, gateways, load balancers, and hybrid connectivity.Implement and maintain secure site-to-site and remote-access VPN solutions across on-premises and cloud environments.Monitor network security events, review logs, investigate incidents, and support remediation and root-cause analysis.Work with SOC, infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to enforce segmentation, access controls, and zero-trust-aligned security practices.jobs.Perform firewall rule reviews, policy optimization, periodic clean-up, and documentation updates.Support change management, patching, upgrades, backups, and disaster recovery readiness for network security devices.Prepare technical documentation, diagrams, audit evidence, and standard operating procedures. Required Skills Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, subnetting, routing, switching, VLANs, and DNS/DHCP.Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco ASA.Experience in cloud networking and security for at least one of Azure, AWS, or GCP; multi-cloud exposure is preferred.Understanding of IDS/IPS, SIEM integration, endpoint/network security controls, and secure connectivity modelsAbility to troubleshoot connectivity, firewall, and cloud networking issues in production environments.Strong documentation, incident management, and stakeholder communication skills. Certification Requirements CCNA or CCNP preferred.PCNSE preferred for Palo Alto expertise.Azure, AWS, or GCP certifications are preferred for cloud networking roles. .
