Role : Network Security - Sr SpecialistJob Description:- Experience 5 to 9 years.- Must be able to set up, implement, and maintain firewalls (FortiGate Preferred).- Creates and maintains network documentation and Visio diagrams.- Proactively engaged to identify opportunities and implement enhancements of data network.- Responsible for overall network security troubleshooting and support of corporate internal network.- Analyses log files, performance issues, and the production environment for mission-critical systems.- Good understanding of security controls (access control, auditing, authentication, encryption, data integrity).- Adheres to standards and to the long-term strategy for network connectivity.- Coordinate with vendors and technology partners to ensure proper logical and physical layer connectivity.- Jointly, with the network infrastructure team develops practical implementation plans.- Acts as a catalyst for innovation; generates practical, sustainable, and creative options to solve problems and create business opportunities, while maximizing existing resources.- Ensures network designs are implemented correctly and are being maintained in the appropriate fashion.- Manages complex trouble tickets to install or assist in installing, upgrade, and maintain existing network security systems and services.- Assists in the development of the Data Communications Network Strategy.- Focuses on designing, implementing, operating, and maintaining the network security infrastructure.Education:- Bachelors or masters degree in any discipline.- CCNA/CCSP Certified.- Good understanding of different OSI Layers and IP (TCP/UDP) Protocols.- Good understanding of NAT and PAT.- Hands on experience on configuring and managing FortiGate Firewalls and Cisco Routers and Switches.- Able to configure and troubleshoot IPSec and SSL VPNs.- Experience on routers/switches and good understanding of L2/L3 protocols.- Analyze FortiAnalyzer/SIEM logs to identify network threats and corelate.- Analyze packets using Wireshark/Ethereal analyzers.- Requires an in-depth working knowledge of network hardware, software and LAN/WAN connectivity.- Good English Communication Skills (Verbal/Written).- Demonstrated problem solving, critical thinking and logical structuring skills.- Willingness to work in Night Shifts (US Business Hours).Nice to have Experience:- Load Balancers.- Open DNS.- Wireless standards/devices.
