Business Function
Group Operations enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble, and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group Operations, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels. As an Operations Department, we embrace and reinforce the strong PRIDE culture that is built up in DBS. This is done through strategic focus on training and improving staff capability, empowerment, productivity, teamwork, innovation & technology, managing operational risks & strongly collaborating with our business partners in delivering excellent RED service to our customers.
Responsibilities
Analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support the bank's liabilities management strategies
Develop and maintain reporting dashboards and visualizations to effectively communicate data-driven insights to stakeholders
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions
Continuously explore and implement new data analysis techniques and tools to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of data processing
Ensure data integrity and quality by implementing robust data validation and cleansing processes
Provide recommendations and support for strategic decision-making based on data analysis
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or Computer Science
Minimum 3 years of experience in data analysis, with a robust understanding of financial data and banking operations
Proficient in using data analysis tools and techniques, such as SQL, Python, R, or Tableau
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
Strong communication and presentation skills .
