Senior PHP Developer - 3 Month Contract

We are looking for a temporary Senior PHP Developer for an initial period of 3 months. Your key responsibilities as a Senior PHP Developer will include to: Collaborate with the Technical Lead and other developers in building and delivering the product roadmap Responsible for designing and developing web-based applications and integrating with related backend systems Assist with technical direction to the team and be a key contributor to Product Development and Release Cycles Assist with maintaining the overall architecture for all systems/programs/initiatives Implement object-oriented design principles and patterns Develop highly performant, scalable & secure applications Be involved in defining and applying development best practices in a large distributed development team Help to build reusable code and libraries for future use Help to ensure a high standard of work through code reviews, coaching and management. Help set and enforce quality standards and best practices within the team Provide technical mentorship and guidance to other developers Implement and help determine strategies on how to reduce technical debt Communicate clearly and effectively across all levels of the organization Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders Assist with monitoring alerting systems and managing system alerts Assist with infrastructure upgrades & change control of infrastructure Remain knowledgeable of current technology and carry out research to identify new trends that can be used to achieve maximum results Carry out other technical related duties that may be required To join us as a Senior PHP Developer, you will need the following skills and experience: You must have 7+ years of experience and excellent knowledge of PHP You must have 7+ years of experience with PHP MVC frameworks, ideally Laravel You must have 7+ years experience in web technologies including JSON/XML, WebAPIs, RESTful APIs You must have 6+ years of experience with relational databases, e.g. MySQL You must have 7+ years of experience and strong understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript Apply today for immediate consideration! .
