Overview
As an Application Engineer in the Middle East and Africa team, your role involves utilizing your engineering skills and Fisher Software to prepare engineering solutions for Control valves for EPC KOB2 projects/Regional MRO business support for clients/sales offices. Your responsibilities will include:
- Understanding KOB2 projects/MRO RFQ's (Assembly, Parts, Instruments) and preparing guidelines/Quotes meeting all customer requirements.
- Clarifying doubts on technical specifications/project guidelines/TBE queries through conference calls with Sales office/impact partner/FCEC senior Engineering.
- Reviewing project specifications and contributing to project guidelines form.
- Preparing Technical and Commercial Quotes, technical deviations list, and generating reports and drawings.
- Supporting Sales office post the issue of PO and preparing transactions for order entry.
- Providing technical support for OE/factory clarifications and assisting with change orders.
- Being established as one of the contact points for specific Sales/LBP to send projects.
- Handling internal training programs.
- Monitoring RDSL, PDSL, Productivity & RFT performance for the sales/regional teams supported.
Qualifications required for this role include:
- A degree in the engineering field.
- 4+ years of experience in relevant process industry/Control valve/Inside sales.
- Hands-on knowledge and experience of control valves sizing & selection add an advantage.
- Degree in Mechanical/Instrumentation/Chemical/Metallurgical Engineering.
- Awareness of Fisher control valve product knowledge/Engineering, Inside sales exp, process industry knowledge, etc.
