Position Overview
The role of the Senior Property Accountant IV is to work with a team of property accountants and accounting assistants. This will include 1:1 check-ins, answering questions, reviewing work completed and communicating status and/or needs to Management in NA.
Responsibilities
Resolving team queries regards to Data entry, bank statements etc.Keeping a tab of work completed by team membersRegular check and communication the status update with the ManagementPerforming bank reconciliationsPreparing financial reporting packages
Knowledge And Skills
5+ years overall accounting experienceKnowledge of property accounting principles and practicesKnowledge of financial reportingTechnical accounting skillsPrevious experience of general accounting, GAAPStrong skills with MS Excel, Word and PowerPointAdept at using technology including a variety of software/online portals/SaaS systems to capture, analyse and record informationConsistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performanceWilling to work extended time frames during month-end close and any other periods of critical financial activities Excellent organizational and time management skills Attention to detail, accuracy, planning, organizing, scheduling and monitoringStrong initiative, problem analysis and problem-solving skills
Education
Bachelors degree in accounting or finance
