For more information visit: www.bureauveritas.com JOB DESCRIPTION FORM Job Title: Senior Engineer- QA/QC Entity: Bureau Veritas India Pvt Ltd (BVIL) Location: As per locations Reports to (job): Manager B&I Purpose of Position The job incumbent is responsible for performing inspections, audits, supervision as per QAP, approved procedure, standards, etc., Carries out some tasks independently, with minimum supervision, and these may be on well identified or isolated assets. Major Responsibilities Third Party Inspection or QA/QC of Civil Projects like Highrise buildings and Infrastructure Projects on a continuous basis Conducting on-site training for juniors, Preparing progress report, field inspection report, NCs, etc based on clients requirement. Follow up the above reports and close the gaps mentioned in the reports Adherence to Codes and Standards (Knowledge of Codes and Standards), Inspection, supervision of construction activities as per client requirement Review of QAP & Quality Manual Roles & Responsibilities for HSE Must comply the BV Cardinal Safety Rules in all situations. To comply company HSE requirements e.g. policies, Procedures, guidelines etc. and local legal requirements on HSE as applicable To take care of own health and safety as well as colleagues and others. Immediate reporting of any shortcomings on HSE i.e. any incident, unsafe work practices / conditions to his/her immediate Line Managers. Sharing opportunities for improvement on HSE aspects Criteria for Performance Evaluation (KPIs) On-time delivery of Reports Client relationship Retention and Growth. Compliance of internal and external guidelines, policies, procedures. Internal and external customer service satisfaction (e.g. number of complaints) To adhere Group HSE Guidelines. Qualification and Experience General: Graduate Engineer BE/ B.Tech (Civil) with min. 4 to 5 years or Diploma with 6-7 years of relevant experience. Technical: Knowledge of QA/QC will be preferred. Skills & Qualities: Good communication skills verbal, writing and presentation. Ability to comprehend technical issues quickly. Ability to work in a team .
