Role : Senior SAP S/4HANA Fiori Administrator Location: Chennai/Bangalore/Hyderabad Mode of Work: Hybrid Notice Period: Immediate Joiners only Job Description Role Overview We are seeking a Senior SAP S/4HANA Fiori Administrator to own the configuration, activation, and maintenance of the SAP Fiori Launchpad environment across our S/4HANA landscape. The focus is on enabling, deploying, and troubleshooting Fiori content by activating apps, configuring OData services, and managing catalogs, spaces, pages, and tiles. Front-end development experience with SAPUI5/Fiori Elements is considered a strong advantage but is not mandatory for this role. Key Responsibilities Activate and deploy standard SAP Fiori apps using the SAP Fiori Apps Reference Library , SAP Task Lists, and the Fiori Front-End Server (FES) . Activate, configure, and manage OData services using /IWFND/MAINT_SERVICE , including service registration, ICF node activation, and troubleshooting service-related errors. Build and maintain Fiori catalogs, groups, spaces, and pages, and support the transition from the classic Groups-based Launchpad model to the Spaces & Pages model. Create and maintain target mappings (Semantic Object + Action) to correctly route user intents to the appropriate Fiori applications. Create, configure, and manage Fiori tiles, including static and dynamic tiles, and add custom tiles to the appropriate catalogs. Troubleshoot SAP Fiori Launchpad and application issues end-to-end, including blank tiles, authorization errors, missing applications, OData service failures, and navigation issues using tools such as /IWFND/ERROR_LOG , /UI2/FLP_CUST , and browser developer tools. Assign Fiori catalogs and business catalogs to the appropriate PFCG roles in collaboration with the SAP Security team. Manage Launchpad configuration and customization using /UI2/ transactions, UI Theme Designer settings, and Launchpad content transport across the SAP landscape. Support system copies, upgrades, and Support Package (SP)/patch activities from a Fiori/UI perspective, including reactivation and validation of Fiori content. Maintain documentation for activated applications, catalogs, spaces, pages, tiles, and target mappings. Required Skills & Experience 8+ years of SAP experience with strong hands-on expertise in SAP Fiori Administration on SAP S/4HANA , including Embedded and/or Hub (Central FES) deployments. Deep practical knowledge of: SAP Fiori app activation OData service configuration Fiori catalogs Groups, Spaces & Pages Target mappings Tile management Strong troubleshooting skills across the SAP Fiori stack, including SAP Gateway, ICF services, Launchpad configuration, and authorization-related issues. Working knowledge of PFCG roles and how Fiori catalogs map to authorizations, with the ability to collaborate effectively with SAP Security and Basis teams. Familiarity with SAP Gateway, ICF services, and the SAP Fiori Apps Reference Library . Ability to work closely with Functional and Basis teams to translate business requirements into fully activated and functional Fiori applications. Good to Have (Preferred, Not Mandatory) Experience in SAPUI5 , Fiori Elements , and JavaScript development for custom or extended Fiori applications. Experience with SAP Build Work Zone or SAP Launchpad Service on SAP BTP . ABAP debugging skills for root-cause analysis of Fiori and OData-related issues. Experience with SAP Mobile Start and UI branding/theming using SAP UI Theme Designer . Knowledge of transport management for UI content and cross-landscape governance.
