Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to support the reliability, availability, and performance of businesscritical systems. This role focuses on AWS cloud infrastructure, DevOps tools, and core SRE practices. You will work closely with development, platform, and operations teams to ensure systems are stable, scalable, and well monitored.

Reliability & Operations: Support high availability, scalability, and performance of production systemsImplement and maintain SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs for servicesIdentify and reduce operational toil through automation and process improvementSupport design and implementation of faulttolerant and resilient systemsAWS & Cloud Operations: Manage and operate systems hosted on AWS (EC2, EKS/ECS, RDS, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, IAM, VPC)Support cloud deployments and infrastructure changes following best practicesAssist with backup, disaster recovery, and resiliency planningDevOps & Automation: Work with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools to support reliable deploymentsUse Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormationAutomate repetitive tasks using scripts (Python, Bash, etc.) Incident Management: Participating in production incident response, troubleshooting, and service restorationPerform root cause analysis (RCA) and contribute to postincident reviewsHelp implement preventive actions to avoid incident recurrenceObservability: Configure and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting using tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Dynatrace,Build dashboards to track system health and reliability metrics thoroughly user JourneyImprove alert quality to reduce noise and improve response timesCollaboration: Work closely with application and Engineering teams to embed reliability into system designAct as a strong team player, sharing knowledge and supporting team goalsCommunicate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholdersRequired Skills: Handson experience with AWS cloud servicesKnowledge of DevOps tools and CI/CD processesUnderstanding of SRE principles, monitoring, and reliability engineeringExperience with Linux systems and troubleshooting production issuesBasic scripting skills (Python, Shell, or similar)Good communication and collaboration skills Experience and Skills Qualifications DevOpsAWS cloud servicespythondynatrace About Experian Experian is a global data and technology company, powering opportunities for people and businesses around the world.
