Senior Snowflake Data Engineer Dual-ERP & EDI Integration

Job Summary
We are hiring a hands-on Senior Snowflake Data Engineer to build an enterprise data-consolidation layer for a dual-ERP migration and EDI integration programme.
The engineer will consolidate order, acknowledgement, shipment, invoice and inventory data received from two Infor ERP systems. The role requires solid Snowflake development, advanced SQL, data modelling and event-driven pipeline experience.
This is a development engagement. Candidates must have experience designing and building production Snowflake solutions, not only supporting existing pipelines, developing reports or reviewing designs.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and build a layered Snowflake data architecture.
- Consolidate business data received from two ERP platforms.
- Design composite business keys across multiple source systems.
- Develop source-to-target mappings for different EDI document types.
- Build reconciliation and order-completeness logic using advanced SQL.
- Develop event-driven pipelines using Snowflake Streams and Tasks.
- Identify missing, late-arriving and duplicate records.
- Build idempotent and replayable production data pipelines.
- Create consolidated EDI-ready order, shipment, invoice and inventory records.
- Integrate Snowflake with Workato, Boomi, MuleSoft or similar iPaaS platforms.
- Configure Snowflake RBAC, warehouse sizing and cost controls.
- Maintain audit trails and support automated deployment of Snowflake objects.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of Data Engineering experience.
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on Snowflake development experience.
- Strong experience with Snowflake Streams and Tasks.
- Advanced SQL and complex business-rule development.
- Event-driven data pipeline development.
- Data warehousing, dimensional modelling and integration-layer modelling.
- Experience designing composite business keys across different data sources.
- Experience handling late-arriving, missing and duplicate data.
- Experience building idempotent and safely replayable pipelines.
- Knowledge of Snowflake RBAC, warehouse sizing and cost optimization.
- Experience building production-grade Snowflake solutions.
- Strongly Preferred
- EDI or X12 transaction knowledge: 850, 855, 856, 810, 846 and 860.
- Infor ERP experience: SyteLine, LN, ION or BOD.
- Workato, Boomi, MuleSoft or similar iPaaS experience.
- Snowflake external-access or notification integrations.
- Deployment automation using dbt, schemachange or Terraform.
Good to Have
- Dual-ERP migration or ERP-consolidation programme experience.
- Manufacturing, distribution or automotive domain knowledge.
- Experience working in SOX-controlled data environments.
- Power BI exposure.
