Role: Senior Software Developer(Unity + Android) E-IILocation: BangaloreNotice Period: Immediate To 15 DaysExperience: 2 To 4+ YJD:Looking for an experienced Unity and Android application software engineer with proven track record. The successful candidate will be part of a team of developers with expertise in extending and refining feature set for Android applications with Unity plug-in that runs on Qualcomm VR Reference design. Candidate is expected to work with a team of SW, Test, and User Experience engineers to deliver an application to be used by Qualcomm XR test teams and to be delivered as part of a VR Reference Design Kit to OEMs and developers.
Position requires technical analysis, developing virtual objects in Unity, importing Unity prefab packages into Android App, and ability to compile, build, and test solutions (turn requirements into an apk with a polished user experience). The successful candidate will work with minimal supervision, performing task definition, and work breakdown including duration estimates and will coordinate and solve complex issues with our systems teams. The successful candidate will design, document, implement and test embedded software in a real-time environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required. The candidate must be able to work well with others in a technical environment. The ability to work independently, with strong problem-solving skills, is expected.
Minimum Qualifications 2-4+ years of experience on Android application development Applied Unity experience Experience with C++, C# including development environment such as Visual Studio Android NDK experience is highly valued Experience with source control and collaboration system such as Github or Perforce Ability to work effectively in a cross-discipline project team Strong communication and documentation skills Ability to problem solve including troubleshooting and log analysis
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with debug tools such as Android adb tool Exposure to APIs on ARKit and ARCore as part of app development is preferred Prior experience and familiarity on working with AR/VR/MR devices and use cases is preferred.
Education requirementsB.E. or B.Tech. in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering/Software Engineering/Computer Engineering or equivalent.Masters degree preferred.Comments for Suppliers:1.
