We're hiring experienced Senior Software Engineers to join delivery squads building and modernizing a large-scale enterprise platform in the financial services domain.
This is a domain-heavy role. We are looking specifically for engineers who have built production software inside banking, wealth, superannuation or insurance environments, and who have hands-on experience building APIs that integrate with the Workato Integration Platform.
Engagement
Contract, with an initial term of 3 to 12 months depending on squad and scope. Extensions are performance-based, and the programme is long-running strong performers are renewed beyond the initial term.
Working hours
Early shift aligned to Australian Eastern Time standard hours 7:00 AM 4:00 PM IST, giving roughly six hours of live overlap with the Australian business day. Some flexibility on start time (6:00 AM 8:00 AM IST) depending on squad ceremonies.
Must have
Strong hands-on Java up to 10 years in software engineeringBFSI domain experience you have delivered production systems in banking, wealth management, superannuation, or insurance, and understand the regulatory and control expectations that come with itFirst-hand Workato experience you have personally built and shipped APIs that integrate with Workato, and can talk through recipes, connectors, error handling and payload design from your own workVue.js and/or Angular.js front-end experienceHibernate / ORM and solid database fundamentalsStrong OO design, unit testing, and test automationAgile delivery, CI/CD, basic Unix/Linux, messaging conceptsModern web technologies and SPAsDegree in Computer Science / IT, or equivalent industry experienceNice to have
