Senior System & Network Engineer (India)

Location: Noida Experience: 5 to 10 Years No. Of Openings: 1 Job Description - Manage and support end-to-end IT infrastructure operations, including servers, networks, security systems, and user support. - Design, deploy, and maintain LAN, WAN, network segments, internet, and intranet systems, ensuring seamless connectivity and high availability across the organization. - Administer and maintain network devices and systems including routers, switches, firewalls (Cisco/SonicWall/PaloAlto etc), VPN gateways, intrusion detection systems, and wireless infrastructure (Aruba WiFi). - Configure and manage routing protocols, VLANs, NAT, IP addressing, and network security policies, ensuring optimal performance and secure communication. - Implement and manage IPSec VPN tunnels and ensure secure remote connectivity. - Administer and maintain Windows (Active Directory, GPO, authentication/authorization) and Linux server environments, ensuring system stability and efficiency. - Manage Hyper-V virtualization platform, including VM provisioning, monitoring, and performance optimization. - Perform backup and restoration activities using Veritas or tape drive solutions, ensuring data integrity and disaster recovery readiness. - Monitor system and network performance, analyze issues, and troubleshoot incidents to ensure minimal downtime and optimal system efficiency. - Ensure system and network security, including firewall configuration, patch management, vulnerability assessment, and compliance adherence. - Maintain and manage IT assets lifecycle, including hardware, software, licensing, and inventory tracking. - Support database and web server environments (basic to moderate level) including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. - Automate routine administrative tasks using Shell/Bash/PowerShell scripting to improve operational efficiency. - Identify user needs, provide technical support, and resolve issues reported by users in a timely and effective manner. - Maintain system documentation and provide recommendations for infrastructure upgrades, optimization, and scalability. - Ensure proper configuration and maintenance of end-user systems, drivers, printers, and peripheral devices. Job Specification - Solid in Linux (RHEL / Ubuntu / CentOS) - Firewall configuration & troubleshooting - Networking concepts: VLAN, NAT, Routing - IPSec VPN configuration - Aruba Access WiFi management - Hyper-V administration - Scripting: Bash / Shell / PowerShell - Basic security & compliance understanding - Veritas or well known Tape drive Backup and restoration - Strong in Active Directory - Moderate level of Knowledge in Data base and Web Server Management .
