Key Responsibilities
- :Review and verify all loan applications and supporting documents
- .Analyze credit, income, and asset documentation including 1040s, K1s, bank statements, and other financial records
- .Identify risks and inconsistencies within mortgage loan files
- .Perform both AUS (DU, LP) and manual underwriting
- .Run and analyze fraud detection reports (Fraud Guard, Fraud Manager, DRIVE)
- .Ensure compliance with agency guidelines (FHA, VA, FNMA, FHLMC, USDA)
- .Apply internal credit policies, TRID, and mortgage regulatory standards
- .Accurately document underwriting decisions and communicate conditions or declinations
- .Maintain high-quality output with minimal supervision under strict timelines
- .Collaborate with internal teams and respond to client inquiries professionally
- .Perform any additional responsibilities assigned by the reporting manager

Required Skills and Experienc
- e:Minimum 5+ years of recent US Residential Mortgage underwriting experienc
- e.Sound knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA, FHLMC, USDA guidelines and Non-QM product
- s.Strong experience in compliance, disclosures, closing documentation, or post-close due diligenc
- e.Excellent analytical and documentation skill
- s.Familiarity with LOS platforms such as Encompass, BytePro, Calyx, Empower, Lending Q
- B.Strong understanding of US mortgage regulatory changes and TRI
- D.Ability to work in high-volume environments and meet deadline
- s.Exceptional communication (verbal & written) and time-management skill
