Service Delivery Manager -Data & Analytics

Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Service Delivery Manager Data & Analytics (BFSI) to lead endtoend delivery of data and analytics projects. The role will be responsible for delivery governance, project execution, stakeholder management, team coordination, risk management, and overall service quality. The ideal candidate must have strong experience managing data engineering, data platforms, analytics, BI, or cloud data projects and mandatory BFSI domain experience. Key Responsibilities Own endtoend delivery of data and analytics projects from planning through completion. Manage multiple projects ensuring delivery within scope, timelines, budget, and quality standards. Drive delivery planning, resource allocation, prioritization, dependency management, and execution. Lead and coordinate crossfunctional teams (Data Engineers, Analysts, BI Developers, Architects, QA, Business teams). Establish delivery governance covering KPIs, risks, issues, dependencies, milestones, and action plans. Act as the primary delivery point of contact for senior stakeholders and clients. Conduct regular status/governance meetings and provide clear delivery updates. Proactively identify risks/blockers and drive resolution. Ensure adherence to delivery processes, SLAs, and client expectations. Manage escalations, scope changes, and competing priorities. Track milestones, resource utilization, and delivery performance. Collaborate with technical leads/architects to address dependencies and challenges. Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes, productivity, and customer satisfaction. Ensure proper documentation, knowledge transfer, and project handover. Data & Technology Exposure Data Engineering & Warehousing Cloud Data Platforms (Azure / AWS / GCP) Databricks / Spark SQL & Data Pipelines ETL / ELT Data Lakes & Lakehouse BI & Analytics Data Quality & Governance Agile / Scrum Mandatory Requirements BFSI domain experience (Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Capital Markets, or FinTech). 8+ years of overall experience with significant service/project delivery exposure. Proven experience managing Data & Analytics projects. Strong stakeholder and client management skills. Experience managing crossfunctional technical teams. Good understanding of Data Engineering and Cloud Data Platforms. Strong risk, issue, dependency, and escalation management. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Preferred Skills Experience in data transformation / modernization programs. Exposure to Databricks, Azure, AWS, or GCP. Experience managing distributed/offshore teams. Experience managing multiple projects or programs.
