Role OverviewWe seek a seasoned ServiceNow Developer with extensive expertise in Integrated Risk Management (IRM)/Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) or Security Operations (SecOps) to expand our ServiceNow practice. The role requires strong platform development skills to independently design, develop, and deploy enterprise-level ServiceNow solutions.
Key ResponsibilitiesCreate, customize, and enhance ServiceNow applications focused on IRM/GRC or SecOps domains.Configure platform capabilities using Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI policies and actions, Access Control Lists, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.Develop and maintain integrations through REST and SOAP APIs.Engage in all phases including requirement gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.Diagnose and resolve complex ServiceNow platform issues ensuring high performance and stability.Adhere to best practices, coding standards, and governance for ServiceNow development.Collaborate with team members across functions and provide mentorship to junior developers.Required Skills & ExpertiseIRM/GRC Focus: Policy and compliance management, risk management, audit and vendor risk management.
Security Operations (SecOps) Focus: Security Incident Response (SIR), Vulnerability Response (VR), threat intelligence.
Common Technical Skills: ServiceNow platform development, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, proficient in JavaScript, REST and SOAP integrations, familiarity with Service Portal is advantageous.
Qualifications & ExperienceBetween 6 to 10 years of professional experience working with ServiceNow.Deep practical knowledge in either ServiceNow IRM/GRC or ServiceNow SecOps modules.Certified System Administrator (CSA) credential is mandatory.Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification required.Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in IRM/GRC or Security Operations is compulsory.Strong analytical, problem-solving capabilities, and excellent communication skills.
ResponsibilitiesDesign and tailor ServiceNow applications for IRM/GRC or Security Operations.Implement platform features leveraging scripting and configuration tools including Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, ACLs, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.Develop API integrations through REST and SOAP services.Contribute across the project lifecycle from requirements to production maintenance.Resolve intricate platform issues optimizing reliability and functionality.Maintain adherence to ServiceNow coding best practices and governance policies.Work jointly with diverse teams and mentor less experienced developers.
RequirementsExpertise in Risk and Compliance modules such as Policy & Compliance, Risk Management, Audit and Vendor Risk Management.Experience with Security Operations including Security Incident Response, Vulnerability Response, and Threat Intelligence.Strong command of ServiceNow platform development, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, JavaScript scripting, REST and SOAP API integrations; Service Portal knowledge preferred.Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Application Developer (CAD), and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in IRM/GRC or SecOps are mandatory credentials.Minimum 6 years and up to 10 years of relevant ServiceNow development experience.Excellent problem-solving aptitude and effective communication skills. .
