DC SUPERVISOR / SITE INCHARGE
Job Title: Deputy Manager I or II
Department: Information Technology
Reports to: SM - IT
Experience:
Minimum 5to 8 years experience managing 24/7 data center environment.
At least 5 years of experience managing team.
Experience working with Mainframe, Unix, Linux, Windows Server, enterprise storage, networking equipment
Required Qualification: BE/B-Tech/B. Sc (IT) OR equivalent
Skill, Knowledge &Trainings:
Ability to communicate orally and written in a professional manner
Prior experience in Vendor co-ordination and management, handling incident management, crisis handling.
Should have knowledge of IBM Tivoli/Spectrum Protect and HP Data protector
Installation and support of IT infrastructure (hardware, systems software, networks, and backup systems)
Troubleshoot / escalate issues within the data center and physical infrastructure / facilities in Data Center.
Manage and support change and release processes for physical environments.
Core Competencies:
Adherences to processes like change management, incidence reporting, call logging, escalations etc.
Coordinate with different teams for efficient DR site operations.
Maintaining Data Center policies and procedures at colocation facility.
Functional Competencies:
Works well both alone or in a team.
Strong analytical skills
Good communication and presentation skills
Candidate should be prepared to stretch and extend beyond normal working hours/days as call of duty
Job Purpose:
To be a delivery lead of IT infra team at colocation facilities at Hyderabad.
Shall be responsible for overall IT operations and managing / maintaining relevant documentation at colocation facility.
Area of Operations
Key Responsibility
IT Infrastructure management
Has overall responsibility for planning, directing and coordinating activities pertaining to the day-to-day support of the data center.
Documentation
Should have Knowledge of Inventory management/Documentation
Resource Management
Manage the duty roaster for 24x7 Data Center operation with available resources.
Any Other Requirement:
Ability to communicate and escalate all incidents and issues to the management.
A self-starter able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment.
Ability to communicate orally and written in a professional manner.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and stressful scenarios.
Good time management skills
An ability to follow processes
Though this position is initially for Hyderabad location the candidate requires to relocate to any other city in India. .
