01Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and scorecards.
Gather and analyse business requirements from stakeholders.
Create and optimize data models using Power BI Desktop.
Develop complex calculations using DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).
Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading using Power Query and other data integration tools.
Connect Power BI to various data sources such as SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, and APIs.
Optimize report performance and troubleshoot data-related issues.
Schedule and manage dataset refreshes through the Power BI Service.
Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to deliver reporting solutions.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
Create documentation, user guides, and training materials.
Required Qualifications:
Strong experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
Proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M Language), and data modelling.
Strong SQL skills for querying and data manipulation.
Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
Understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
Knowledge of Power BI Gateway configuration and management.
Experience with Microsoft Azure data services is an added advantage.
Familiarity with Excel, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365 ecosystem.

Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Ability to convert business requirements into technical solutions.
Data visualization best practices and storytelling skills.
Attention to detail and commitment to data quality.
Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
24 years of experience in Power BI development and reporting.
Microsoft Power BI Certification is preferred.
