01Key Responsibilities
Finalization of Accounts & Financial Statements:- Assist in the finalization of books of accounts in compliance with IND-AS.- Prepare standalone and consolidated financial statements, including notes and disclosures.Fixed Assets Management:- Oversee fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, retirement, transfer, and depreciation.- Manage and monitor CWIP (Capital Work-in-Progress) and ensure timely capitalization.- Maintain asset master data and ensure proper tagging and classification.Capex & SAP Handling:- Review and control Capex accounting, ensuring alignment with budget and approvals.- Work within SAP for accurate recording and reporting of fixed assets.Month-End Close Activities:- Execute month-end closing entries, asset roll-forwards, and reconciliation.- Prepare financials of subsidiaries, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.Intercompany & GST Transactions:- Prepare and raise corporate debit notes on external parties.- Perform GST cross-charge calculations and documentation.- Conduct inter-store reconciliations with the Head Office.Audit & Compliance:- Coordinate and support statutory audits and respond to auditor queries.- Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation.- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.Required Qualifications & Skills:- Chartered Accountant (CA) with relevant post-qualification experience (preferably 3 to 6 years).- Hands-on experience in Fixed Asset accounting, Capex control, and CWIP monitoring.- Working knowledge of IND-AS accounting standards.- Proficient in SAP (Asset Accounting module is a must).- Experience with GST, inter-company transactions, and reconciliations.- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.- Exposure to statutory audits and audit preparation processes.Preferred Attributes:- Ability to work independently and manage tight deadlines.- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools. .
