Site Accountant

Profile - Accountant( Site / Project) 

Qualification :-Bachelors Degree in Commerce (B.com) / Accounting / Finance

Experience :- 1 - 4 years

Location : - Sagar, MP

Key Responsibilities

1.Day-to-Day Accounting Operations

Maintain and record all site-level financial transactions in Tally ERP.

Handle cash, bank entries, petty cash management, and expense tracking.

Ensure proper documentation and accounting of daily site expenditures.

Maintain accurate cash book, ledger accounts, and vouchers.

2. Vendor & Payment Management

Process vendor bills, contractor payments, and supplier invoices.

Verify bills with supporting documents and approvals.

Maintain records of advances, settlements, and outstanding payments.

Coordinate with vendors for billing and payment-related queries.

3. Budget & Cost Monitoring

Track site expenses against approved budgets.

Monitor material costs, labor payments, and operational expenses.

Highlight cost overruns and support cost control measures.

Assist in preparation of cost reports and financial summaries.

4. MIS & Reporting

Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.

Generate financial reports from Tally ERP for management review.

Maintain records of expenses, payments, and financial performance.

Share timely updates with the head office/accounts department.

5. Compliance & Documentation

Ensure compliance with company financial policies and audit requirements.

Maintain proper filing of bills, invoices, vouchers, and supporting documents.

Assist in internal and external audits.

Ensure statutory compliance related to site accounting (as applicable).

Experience Requirements:-

Certification in Tally ERP / GST (preferred)

Strong hands-on experience in Tally ERP

Experience in construction / infrastructure / project-based environments preferred

Good knowledge of basic accounting principles, GST, and invoicing

Ability to work at project
